Peer Data is looking for a Data Specialist to manage and optimize data processes with a focus on production, quality assurance, automation, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, quality control, and process optimization while supporting business goals through innovative solutions and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
1. Data Production and Maintenance
  • Oversee the collection, collation, and maintenance of data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure timely updates of production work while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage data pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
2. Quality Assurance
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to validate data before use in production.
  • Identify discrepancies or anomalies in datasets and resolve them effectively.
3. Process Improvement & Automation:
  • Analyse existing data management processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks, such as content creation, approval workflows, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Development and Data teams to integrate automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI/ML) into our workflows.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automated processes and workflows.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with product, technology, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment on contract management processes.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide training and support to team members on contract management systems and automation tools.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Monitor content for compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data terms, deadlines, and obligations.
  • Support audits and reviews related to data management and compliance.

Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Data Management, or a related role, preferably in the financial services industry.
    • Proven experience with contract management systems (Nice to have)
    • Familiarity with automation tools and platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
    • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
    • Basic understanding or willingness to learn AI/ML and RPA technologies for process automation.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
     
  • Work Arrangement:
    • This is a full-time, onsite role based in Bangalore, India. Candidates must be willing to work from our office location.
    • The working hours for this role will be aligned with business needs, primarily supporting European or early US market hours. Candidates should be prepared to work schedules that accommodate these time zones.
